Prescription queries and help

Tell us if you have questions about your prescriptions or if you need extra support.

Help with managing your medicines

Medication trays (Dossette boxes)

If you take several different medicines or struggle to remember when to take them, your local pharmacy may be able to provide your medicine in a weekly medication tray. This is sometimes called a Dossette box or a blister pack.

This service organises your pills into compartments for each day and time to help you take the right medicine at the right time.

This service is provided by your local pharmacy, not the GP practice.

Please speak directly to your pharmacist at your nominated pharmacy. They will be able to assess if a medication tray is suitable for you.

Language, format, and communication support

Interpreters and different formats

Please tell us when you book an appointment or order a prescription if you need support. We can help with:

  • Interpreters: We can arrange an interpreter if you need one to discuss your medicine.
  • Different formats: We can provide information in large print, braille or other formats if you have a visual impairment.

Other access needs

Let us know if you have any other communication or access needs and we will do our best to support you.
