Repeat prescriptions
If you need to take medicine regularly, you can order a repeat prescription.
When to order
Please order your repeat prescription when you have 7 to 10 days of medication left.
It can take the practice up to 2 working days to process your request. Your pharmacy may need extra time to prepare your medicine.
Ways to order
You can order a repeat prescription in the following ways:
Order online (quickest method)
This is the quickest way to order your medication. You have two online options:

If you use our Online request, you will need to:
- Select “I have an admin request”
- Enter your patient details
- Select “Repeat prescription”
- Enter your medication details (including name and dosage)
- Add any other information you need to tell the practice.
Order through your pharmacy
You can ask your local pharmacy to order your repeat prescription for you. Speak to your pharmacist to find out more about the services they offer.
Order in person
You can bring your repeat prescription request to the practice and hand it in at the reception desk.
We do not take requests by phone
For safety reasons, we cannot accept repeat prescription requests over the phone.
This is to reduce the risk of errors with your medicine. Please use one of the other ways to order.
