Help with your appointment

We want to make sure your appointment works for you.

Please tell us about any preferences or support you need when you book. This helps us arrange the right care for you.

Requesting a specific GP or nurse

You can ask for an appointment with a particular GP or nurse. We will do our best to book you in with them.

This may mean you have to wait longer for an appointment to become available.

If your need is urgent, we recommend you book the next available appointment with any of our healthcare professionals.

Choosing your appointment type

When you book, you can tell us if you have a preference for how you have your appointment.

Depending on your health needs, this could be:

  • by phone
  • in person
  • by text or email (where available)

Language and communication support

Interpreters

If you need an interpreter for your appointment, please tell us when you book. We can arrange one for you.

Other support needs

Please let us know if you have any other needs so we can make your visit easier. This could include:

  • Needing a quiet space to wait
  • Help with moving around the practice
  • If you need a longer appointment
  • Support for a hearing or sight impairment
  • If you need a chaperone present during your appointment
