Ways to have an appointment

There are different ways you can have an appointment with a GP, nurse, or another healthcare professional. We will offer you an appointment that best suits your health needs.

In-person appointments

For these appointments, you come to the GP practice to see someone.

We use these appointments when we need to examine you or do a test. Please bring a list of your current medicines with you.

Phone appointments

A GP or nurse will call you on the phone at an agreed time.

These are useful for follow-up chats, reviewing your medicine, or for simple questions. Please be ready to answer your phone in a place where you can talk privately.

Online requests

You can contact us about a health problem by filling in an

online request form
.

This is for health issues that are not urgent. Someone from our team will look at your form and reply with advice or the next steps.

Home visits

If you cannot leave your home because you are too ill or have a disability (housebound), a GP may be able to visit you at home.

Please call us as early in the day as you can if you think you need a home visit.
